READ: The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to be Insanely Great In Front of Any Audience

The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to Be Insanely Great in Front of Any AudienceOne thing I'm excited about these past few days is that I will be able to receive some of the books I wished for last year. My cousins are coming over from the US and I've requested them to get me 4 of these books. This also means that I've got to finish up on the book I'm currently reading before they arrive next week. I'm barely half-way, but like they say...I'll get there...eventually.

Anyway, from the books in my wish list, I was blessed enough to get one last Christmas: The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to be Insanely Great In Front of Any Audience. And after about 5 months of reading, I finally finished it a couple of months ago.

I'm proud and grateful to be one of those people who doesn't shy away from being in front of a crowd. In fact, I embrace the opportunity to be able to present, perform or entertain. And through the past couple of years, I've made efforts to help improve my skill by reading books or watching videos of great presenters and applying them whenever I need to present.

It is not a secret that one of the best, if not the best, presenter of our time is Apple CEO Steve Jobs. His keynotes are never boring and has always kept everyone in anticipation. In this book, author Carmine Gallo thoroughly analyzes what makes Jobs so effective in his presentation. He outlines the Jobs' effective ways and gives examples extracted from his keynotes. Definitely a great read and truly helpful. The next step of course is to practice, practice, practice!
